The music

Symphonic calendar is a concert-show designed like a musical Advent calendar.
Each ‘door’ opens with a surprise: an orchestral piece, a sketch, a touch of humour or poetry... To tide us over until the festive season, the orchestra and two actors take us on a merry, offbeat journey through music and theatre.

‘Hey, Antoine, how many more sleeps before Christmas?’
‘Well... hmmm... 80 musicians, minus 3 trombones, divided by 11 strings plus a conductor, multiplied by 2 oboes plus 8 milk chocolates gives us... 24! All you have to do to wait is open the 24 doors of your symphony calendar and get ready for the festive season!’
