"A tribute to Ella Fitzgerald", for OSR Jazz band and small string ensemble
The music
For the last rays of the summer sun, join us for the OSR Festival at Genève-Plage. The festival, which will be held from 17 to 19 August 2023, will open with a symphonic programme on Thursday and a film concert on Friday. The festival will conclude on Saturday with a jazz programme.
For its closing concert, the Orchestra will pay tribute to the iconic jazz queen Ella Fitzgerald with "A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald", an original musical project revisiting the singer's repertoire, arranged exclusively for the Orchestra by composer Alexandre Mastrangelo, and performed by singer Lucy Woodward.
