
Christophe Delannoy studied percussion in the Paris region with Pascal Laborie, François Vilacèque and then Francis Brana. In 1994, he was awarded a First Prize in percussion.
He began his career as a percussionist with numerous ensembles such as the Orchestre national des Pays de la Loire, the Orchestre de Picardie, the Orchestre de chambre d'Île-de-France and the Orchestre d'Orléans. In 1996, he joined the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande as 1st percussionist, solo snare drum.
He participates in numerous musical projects with Eklekto, the Amadeus Festival Orchestra, the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra of Italian Switzerland.
Christophe Delannoy has been teaching percussion at the Haute école de musique de Genève since 2008.
