The lobby has a parquet floor rising to the ground floor and balconies and steps on the 1st and 2nd floors. A lift serves the 1st floor. In the balconies and terraces, balustrades with a steel mesh covering are attached. These are transparent, acoustically relevant and serve to ensure safety. The concert hall consists of a steel structure with a volume of almost 60,000 cubic metres. The concert hall itself is integrated into the construction from prefabricated solid wood elements. The stage area is approximately 272 m².
The new site of the Munich Philharmonic was designed by the international architects "von Gerkan, Marg and Partners" and implemented by the Swiss group "NUSSLI". Yasuhisa Toyota and his firm Nagata Acoustics bring to the project their decades of experience and expertise from previous projects such as the Elbphilharmonie, the Philharmonie de Paris and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
It has a capacity of approximately 1800 people.

Public parking
200 parking spaces are available on the grounds of the wholesale flower market (access via Lagerhausstraße 5; open from two hours before the start of the event until 1 a.m.; fee €10). The car park is well served by shuttle buses.
