In the prestigious setting of the Geneva Museum of Art and History, the OSR was delighted to take part in the annual fundraising gala for the Dr Henri Dubois-Ferrière Dinu Lipatti Foundation on 15 October.
On this occasion, the OSR participated under the direction of Zofia Kiniorska, assistant conductor, in the original and unprecedented creation by Mathieu Forget, a multidisciplinary artist who is a dancer, photographer and artistic director. Through a series of choreographed scenes and accompanied by the music of Marc Perrenoud and the musicians of the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Mathieu Forget, alongside dancer Victoria Dauberville, presented a journey combining artistic performance, music and heritage, offering an immersive, poetic and timeless experience.
Building on its founding heritage, the Dr Henri Dubois-Ferrière Dinu Lipatti Foundation supports cutting-edge medical and scientific research in the field of haematology, encourages innovation and forges links with individuals, foundations and institutions active in these areas, with the aim of treating and curing leukaemia and other blood diseases.
