The soloist captivated the audience in Berlioz's ‘Harold in Italy’

There was a wonderful rapport between maestro Jonathan Nott, the orchestra and violist Elçim Özdemir, soloist with the OSR, at the opening concert at Victoria Hall.

Berlioz's seminal work for viola, Harold in Italy, once again captivated the audience. Elçim Özdemir had previously performed it 13 years ago under the baton of Marek Janowski. A wonderful start to the season!
