Auditorium du Nouveau Siècle

A unique building complex built in the 1980s in the heart of Lille. Reception rooms and conference areas adjoin a showcase for virtuosos from all over the world. Welcome to the Nouveau Siècle!

Its cylindrical shape, its openness to all audiences and its privileged location in the centre of Lille make the Nouveau Siècle a special place in the hearts of the people of Lille... The idea of such a building, revolutionary in its architecture and its desire for openness and versatility, was born out of a process of revitalising the Poissonceaux district initiated in the 1970s. This former lot of houses, buildings and shops will be replaced by a gigantic building complex, built under the leadership of the Region: the New Century.

Versatility and quality of reception are the key words of the Nouveau Siècle. The Auditorium, like the other reception areas, hosts classical music, jazz and variety concerts, film-concerts and various festivals, as well as professional events.

The auditorium has a capacity of 1758 seats: 1752 + 6 PRM, of which 168 are behind the scenes
