At the start of a new season, RTS reaffirms its honor and pride in maintaining close collaboration with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. The 2025–26 season offers an attractive program featuring some of the biggest names in Swiss and international music.
Much of this content will be featured on RTS's various channels and platforms: a variety of editorial content and, above all, regular recordings will enrich our public service audiovisual offering and its archive.
In detail: in addition to journalistic coverage, reports and interviews with OSR performers throughout the year, RTS will record more than 10 OSR concerts per season, mainly for audio broadcast. In collaboration with Arte Concert, we have the rare opportunity to broadcast filmed concerts and operas on Thursday evenings on RTS 1 and to make them available on the Play RTS app for an extended period. On the radio, the OSR's concert programming on RTS Espace 2 (usually on Wednesday evenings and regularly live) is part of an exceptional offering that is worth mentioning here: a concert every evening, 365 days a year! Thanks to our music production teams, the shared offerings within the SSR and the European public service media network, every evening at 7:30 p.m., the channel invites you to a concert, ranging from recitals to opera, from the baroque repertoire to new works, including jazz and world music.
To make this daily festival more visible and encourage repeat listening, all the evening programs are now grouped together under the heading “Concert du soir” and available in chronological order on the Play RTS app.
