At the same time, a solution has been found to enable the continuation of a medical research program, provide assistance to the elderly, participate in environmental protection, and contribute to the organization of an exhibition.
There are countless examples of projects that have come to fruition thanks to the support of Loterie Romande. Having an excellent idea, being convinced of its feasibility, and having a motivated team are not always enough to get a project off the ground: to see it through to completion, it is essential to be able to count on financial support.
Since its creation, Loterie Romande has pursued its mission of distributing all of its profits to charitable projects, particularly the fields of social welfare, sports, culture, and the environment.
Some 5,000 projects throughout the French-speaking part of Switzerland are supported each year.
