As the concert-going public returns to concert halls around the world, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande resumes its touring programme, representing French-speaking Switzerland in Spain for five dates – from February 21 to 26 2022 – in Oviedo, Madrid, Zaragoza, Barcelona and Alicante.
Listeners can delight in the programme proposed by Musical and Artistic Director, Jonathan Nott, which includes Mahler’s 5th symphony. Furthermore, Franco-Swiss flutist Emmanuel Pahud will join the orchestra on tour for performances of Jacques Ibert’s Concerto for flute, and in Barcelona, Mozart’s Concerto for flute No1.
The Orchestra has already visited Spain four times in recent history, the most recent in 2017, also with Nott. Each of Emmanuel Pahud’s performances with Nott and the Orchestra offer the public a new opportunity for a unique musical experience, and the series of dates in Spain promise to be no exception !
