A Las Palmas, le sacre de l’OSR(Le Temps)
What a success! Both in musical and human terms. The orchestra had the privilege of performing in magnificent halls such as the majestic Palau de la Musica Catalana in Barcelona, the Auditorio de Tenerife and the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus in Las Palmas, which offered an unrestricted view of the ocean. Conducted by Jonathan Nott, the Orchestra played a fine programme typical of its repertoire: Debussy's Clair de Lune to open, Stravinsky's powerful Rite of Spring, and Sibelius's Violin Concerto, brilliantly performed by Midori. Each concert had a different atmosphere, but always a full house! The Orchestra returns full of emotion!
