The Orchestre de la Suisse Romande is joining forces with cultural actors in French-speaking Switzerland to oppose the “200 francs is enough!” initiative, which will be put to a vote on March 8. If adopted, this project would drastically weaken the resources of the SSR, jeopardizing a long-standing partner: RTS.
Since its foundation, RTS has played a central role in the creation, dissemination, and promotion of classical music in Switzerland. Reducing its resources would undermine access to culture for all.
