The OSR is taking over the Genève-Plage lawn again this summer for the 4th edition of its festival, to be held on 17-18-19 August 2023, with three open-air concerts: a Classical evening, a special Hitchcock film evening and a Jazz evening paying tribute to Ella Fitzgerald.
> Thursday 17 August: a grandiose symphonic programme featuring some of the greatest classical hits, conducted by Lucie Leguay.
> Friday 18 August: a cine-concert featuring one of the greatest films in the history of cinema, Alfred Hitchcock's Cold Sweat (Vertigo, 1958), conducted by genre specialist Ernst van Tiel.
> Saturday 19 August: a tribute to the unclassifiable and legendary jazz diva Ella Fitzgerald, with A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, an original musical project revisiting the singer's repertoire, arranged exclusively for the Orchestra by composer Alexandre Mastrangelo.
The musicians are looking forward to meeting up with their audience in an idyllic setting, playing at sunset by the lake!
