Mihoko Fujimura performs at the Vienna Staatsoper, La Scala in Milan, the Royal Opera House, and Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, among others. She has appeared at the Bayreuth Festival in Wagner's operas for nine seasons.

Mihoko Fujimura has appeared in concert with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Philharmonic Orchestra of La Scala, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Orchestre de Paris, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Dresden Staatskapelle, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Washington National Symphony Orchestra, the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Lucerne Festival Orchestra, the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.

His recordings with EMI Classics include Mahler's Symphony No. 3 with the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra and Jonathan Nott. He is also the author of six solo recital discs for the Fontec label. In 2014, the Japanese government awarded him the Purple Ribbon Medal for his artistic and academic contributions.
