
Lucas Henry obtained his Master's degree in performance from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon in the class of Yvan Chiffoleau before joining the International Menuhin music academy directed by Renaud Capuçon, where he studied with Clemens Hagen and Lionel Cottet. At the same time, he joined the Philippe Jaroussky Music Academy under Christian-Pierre La Marca for the Tchaikovsky class, as well as the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra Academy.
He performs as a soloist or in chamber music recitals in venues such as the Salle de Musique de Chambre at the Philharmonie du Luxembourg, the Seine musicale in Paris, the Rosey Concert Hall and the Dijon Auditorium, and as a soloist with orchestras such as the Orchestre Appassionato conducted by Mathieu Herzog, the orchestra of the Conservatoire Supérieur de Lyon, the Soloists of the International Menuhin Music Academy and the Orchestre du Conservatoire et Pôle Supérieur de Dijon. He also performs in festivals such as the Gstaad Menuhin Festival, Foreztival, the Pablo Casals Festival, Musique à Flaine and Musicales en Folie, in solo and chamber music programmes.
In 2019, he will win the Jeunes talents chamber music competition in Paris and is a Mécénat Musical Société Générale grant recipient.
