Guillaume Le Corre studied at the Conservatoire de Caen where he won prizes in clarinet, chamber music and musical training in 1995. The same year, he was admitted to the Lyon Conservatory and graduated in 1999 with a special mention for his interpretation of contemporary works.

Thereafter, he plays regularly with the Lyon Opera Orchestra. In 2000, he joined the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande as clarinet and bass clarinet player, while giving concerts in France and Switzerland.

On several occasions, he has been soloist with the Orchestre national de France, under the direction of Ricardo Muti, among others.
