Conductor George Daugherty is one of the most versatile personalities in the world of classical music. He has conducted more than 200 major international orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Symphony Orchestra/Boston Pops, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl, San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House. As well as for major international ballet and opera companies.  He is an Emmy Award winner and has been nominated five times for Emmy Awards for his involvement in television.

In 1990, Daugherty created, directed and conducted the symphony concert Bugs Bunny On Broadway, an animated film production with orchestra. It played to a full house at the Gershwin Theatre on Broadway during its extended cycle in New York City. Now renamed Bugs Bunny at the Symphony, the concert has since been critically acclaimed and sold out around the world. December 21, 2020 will mark Daugherty's debut with the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande for a presentation of the latest version and 30th edition of this famous film-concert, also on the occasion of Bugs Bunny's 80th birthday.
