Born in 1999, Pierre-Louis Dauenhauer began learning the horn at the age of 6 with Christophe Gaurier and Emmanuel Tricheux at the Chartres Conservatoire. At the age of 18, he entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, where he continued his training with David Guerrier and Benoît de Barsony.
In 2020, he joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, studying alongside Jacques Deleplancque, Patrice Petit-Didier and Antoine Morisot. In 2023, he obtained his Bachelor's degree and began his Master's course.
On the professional front, Pierre-Louis regularly works with prestigious orchestras. He performs with the Orchestre de Paris, the Orchestre National de France, the Orchestre National d'Île-de-France, the Orchestre National de Bordeaux and the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse.
He also takes part in festivals, notably the Festival de Musique en Ré, and is an active member of the Pentagone quintet.
His career has enabled him to acquire a wide range of experience in a variety of repertoires and ensembles, enriching his instrumental practice and his musical research.
