
French conductor, Lucie Leguay continues to establish herself with leading orchestras and theatres of the world. In the 2024-25 season she makes her debut with Orchestre National de France, Orchestre Philharmonique de Marseille and Opéra Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie and returns to Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. She regularly performs around Germany and this season includes her Stuttgart debut with Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz. She also is a skilled conductor of contemporary music and has worked closely with Peter Eötvös, Heinz Holliger and Kaija Saariaho, to name a few, and regularly collaborates with Ensemble Modern and Ensemble Incontemporain.
In 2023 Lucie was awarded the Victoires de la Musique Classique “Révélation Conductor” and made her Festival d’Aix debut conducting the Balthasar Neumann Orchestra. She performs regularly in Het Concertgebouw with Noord Nederlands Orkest and has appeared with Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Dortmund Philharmoniker, Nürnberger Symphoniker, Orchestre National de Lyon and Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège. She recently led a production of Die Fledermaus in collaboration with CNSM and Philharmonie de Paris and conducted Munich Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle in Cathedral St Louis des Invalides.
Lucie was trained by Jean-Sébastien Béreau and holds a master’s degree in orchestral conducting from the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne, studying under Aurélien Azan Zielinski.
