
Born in Cali, Colombia, where he spent part of his childhood before moving to Switzerland, Léon David Salazar studied drama at the Manufacture in Lausanne and has worked with Marie Fourquet, Jean-Louis Johannides, Nicolas Zlatoff, Victoria Baumgartner, Robert Cantarella and Christiane Jatahy, with whom he continues an international tour of Le présent qui déborde - Notre Odyssée II. He took part in Les Rigoles, a play based on a comic strip by Brecht Evens, and Chekhov's Platonov, directed by Mathias Brossard. He is co-founder of HAJDUK Cie and a member of Collectif CCC and Collectif Tranx. His film credits include work for Antoine Russbach, Stéphanie Chuat and Véronique Reymond, Valentin Merz and Jorge Cadena. He has also worked on television programmes for Arte, France 2, ARD and RTS (120 minutes, Bon ben voilà S1 and S3).
