
First invitation to the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande: 10 February 2021
American soprano Joélle Harvey is considered one of the most promising talents of her generation.
During the 2019-2020 season Joélle will debut as Pamina in Mozart's The Magic Flute at the New York Metropolitan Opera and the Santa Fe Opera, as well as in a series of recitals with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, the Philharmonia Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and an appearance with the Handel & Haydn Society.
Last season saw his Carnegie Hall debut in works by Gustav Mahler with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra, Toronto Symphony and San Diego Symphony.
Recent engagements include the Pittsburgh Opera, as well as performances at the Glyndebourne Festival, the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, the Venice Opera (La Fenice), the Aix-en-Provence Festival and a collaboration with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
