Of French-Danish origin, Elsa Dreisig is a graduate of the Conservatoire national supérieur de Paris. In 2016, she won the First Female Prize at the prestigious Operalia competition. She was also named "Young Artist of the Year" by Opernwelt magazine and "Revelation Opera Artist" at the Victoires de la musique classique. In 2015, she won the Audience Award at the Neue Stimmen competition. She joined the Staatsoper Berlin in 2017 and sang at the opera houses in Paris and Zurich as well as at the Aix-en-Provence Festival.

In concert, she works with renowned orchestras such as the Berlin Staatskapelle, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic and the West-Eastern Diwan Orchestra, under the direction of conductors such as Daniel Barenboim, Fabio Luisi, Sir Simon Rattle, Franz Welser-Möst and David Zinman.

Last season, she shone in the title role of Anna Bolena on the stage of the Grand Théâtre.
