What better way to welcome the summer in Geneva than with jazzy rhythms? During the first part of this concert, the OSR Jazz Band will treat us to some unforgettable jazz standards such as Caravan, A Night in Tunisia or Take the A train. Italian-Nigerian singer-songwriter-pianist Afra Kane, who won over the jury of the prestigious Montreux Jazz Talent award in 2019, will join the stage in the second half of the concert. Her deep, warm voice will take us through delightful jazz melodies such as On the Sunny Side of the Street, Dream a Little Dream of Meor The Gypsy in my Soulin a tribute to the mythical Ella Fitzgerald, who passed away in June 1996. Lovers of jazz and of Ella Fitzgerald, fans of Afra Kane’s music or faithful followers of the OSR, come and swing in honour of the First Lady of Song!
