Cécile Polin Rogg has been passionate about choral singing, piano and music theory from an early age. She holds a degree in the teaching of Rhythm according to the Jaques-Dalcroze method, and has also trained as a choral conductor with Michel Corboz, Pierre Cao, Claire Marchand and Didier Grojsman.
Focusing on the links between vocal work and the Dalcrozian approach to movement, she has directed four children's and teenage choirs at the Geneva Conservatory of Music since 2001. She offers her students a varied and often original repertoire, leading to stage performances: concerts, jazz operas, musical comedies, musical tales, etc.
Cécile also teaches rhythm in public schools in the canton of Geneva, and is regularly involved in training teachers and choirmasters.
