Russian tenor Dmitry Korchak is one of the most sought-after voices of his generation. Since winning the Francisco Viñas International Singing Competition in Barcelona in 2004 and receiving two prizes at Plácido Domingo’s Operalia Competition in Los Angeles, Dmitry quickly established himself on the international scene with regular appearances at the world’s most renowned opera houses and concert halls.

He regularly performs in renowned opera houses such as the Vienna Staatsoper, Teatro alla Scala, Royal Opera House in London, Metropolitan Opera in New York, Los Angeles Opera, Opernhaus Zürich, Teatro Real in Madrid, Opéra national de Paris, La Monnaie in Brussels, Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Bayerische Staatsoper, Hamburgische Staatsoper, Opéra national de Lyon, Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, and Salzburger Festspiele. Since 2008, he has been a regular guest artist at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro.

This 2023-24 season, Dmitry will be Paolo Erisso in Maometto II at Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Arturo in I Puritani at Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania, and portray the title role in Les contes d'Hoffmann at the Opéra national de Paris. He returns to the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin as Nadir in Les Pêcheurs de Perles and will be Arnold in a new production of Guillaume Tell, directed by Michele Mariotti and staged by Chiara Muti at Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Dmitry returns to the Vienna State Opera for performances of Don Pasquale and Die Zauberflöte.

Highlights from the 2022-23 season included the roles of Pollione in Norma at Teatro Massimo in Palermo and the Prince in Rusalka at La Scala in a new production by Emma Dante, conducted by Tomás Hanus. During the summer, he debuted as Sir Edgardo di Ravenswood in Lucia di Lammermoor at the Sferisterio Festival in Macerata, and in concert, he performed in the Petite Messe Solennelle at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro.

Since 2008, Korchak has been a frequent guest at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro. In addition to his renowned singing career, he is also a conductor. From 2017 to 2020, he served as the principal guest conductor of the Novosibirsk Opera, leading the inaugural concert of the new concert hall with Rossini's Stabat Mater.  He has appeared on numerous audio and video recordings.
