This series of saturday-morning concerts is particularly suited to families, young people, and everyone wanting to learn about classical music !

With their relaxed atmosphere, fun and original presentations, our family concerts provide the perfect opportunity for everyone to discover classical music through a special selection of Orchestre de la Suisse Romande's repertoire.

Our family concerts are a fun and varied introduction to music, to the instruments of the orchestra and to a repertoire that combines classical hits with works written especially for children, such as The Conductor's Spellbook, which the American composer Paul Dooley designed as an exciting interactive experience.
The OSR Grand Tour will take you to the four corners of the world.
Cabot-Caboche, by writer Daniel Pennac and set to music by Karol Beffa, tells the tender story of a brave but not very pretty dog in search of a friend.
The woodwind and brass families will have no secrets for you after hearing the concert Vive les Vents! and we will finish this series in the kitchens of Lionville to discover Le Carnaval des animaux by Saint-Saëns revisited with humour and panache by the composer Jean-François Verdier and a text by Bernard Friot.

There are two subscription options for the 2023-24 season :
Four concerts on saturday mornings, ideal for children aged 7 and up.

With "Famille +", the four concerts on saturday morning plus an additional evening concert.

Ludiques et variés, nos concerts en famille sont une véritable initiation à la découverte de la musique, des instruments de l’orchestre et d’un répertoire mêlant les « tubes » du classique et des œuvres écrites récemment spécialement pour les enfants, tel Le Grimoire d’orchestre (The Conductor’s Spellbook, dans sa version originale en anglais) que le compositeur américain Paul Dooley a conçu comme une passionnante expérience interactive.
La Grande tournée OSR vous fera voyager aux quatre coins du monde.
Cabot-Caboche, de l’écrivain Daniel Pennac et mis en musique par Karol Beffa, nous racontera avec tendresse l’histoire d’un chien courageux, mais pas (très) joli, à la recherche d’une amie.

For children from 7 years old, the Family Concerts + series offers you the opportunity to attend 4 concerts on Saturday at 11am in the Victoria Hall and one concert at 7pm with Le Grimoire d'orchestre!
