After studying at the Geneva Conservatory of Music, from which he graduated with a virtuoso trumpet diploma (Master of Music Performance) and a Master of Music Pedagogy, he was quickly attracted to music that swings and grooves.
He worked with Michel Bastet before moving to Italy to study with Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava and Marco Tamburini.
Today, he divides his time between giving concerts, teaching music at the junior secondary level, co-directing the L'OCO-motion project and working as a cultural adviser to the DIP on behalf of Sesac as part of the Schools&Culture scheme.
