
Margaryta Grynyvetska made her debut as a symphony conductor at the age of 15. At the age of 23, she took a position as a conductor at Odesa Opera and Ballet Theater and became the youngest opera conductor in Ukraine. There, she conducted repertoire operas, ballets, and concerts, and realized her own projects on both the main and chamber stages of the Theatre.
Margaryta Grynyvetska performed on the stage of Berlin Philharmonie with the Ukrainian exiled orchestra “Mriya,” made her debut with the Orchestra of Musikalische Komödie Leipzig, Sinfonieorchester St. Gallen, participated in Stelzenfestspiele and Schnackenburg Festival, performed on a stage in Isarphilharmonie München with Abaco – Orchester, conducted Valeik Philharmonic Orchestra at Crans Montana Classic Festival, and made her debut with Sinfonia Varsovia, and Orchestra and Choir of Państwowa Filharmonia Slaska.
During the 2022/2023 season, Margaryta Grynyvetska conducted the ballets “Giselle” and “Don Quixote,” participated in the benefit concert for Ukraine “Strong Together” streamed on ARTE, and became the main conductor for the premiere of R. Drigo’s “Les Millions d’Arlequine” with choreography by Alexey Ratmansky at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theater. She has worked at Bayerische Staatsoper, Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, Lviv MozArt Festival, Oper Graz, and INSO Orchestra as an assistant to Oksana Lyniv. Margaryta Grynyvetska was the second conductor and assistant for the open-air production of Verdi’s “Aida” in Luxor, Egypt. Margaryta Grynyvetska was the main conductor of a new production and led the ensemble “Artokrats,” with whom she performed baroque and modern music. As an operatic conductor, her repertoire includes “Orfeo ed Euridice” by C.W. Gluck, “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” by G. Rossini, “La Traviata” by G. Verdi, and Donizetti’s “Lucia di Lammermoor” at “Lukash-Fest” (Lviv, Ukraine).
In Ukraine, Margaryta Grynyvetska worked with Odesa Philharmonic Orchestra, Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra, Baroque Chapel Orchestra of Lviv National Music Academy, INSO-Lviv, Odesa Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, and Crimea Academy Symphony Orchestra. Her operatic repertoire also includes Mozart's “Don Giovanni,” “Le Nozze di Figaro,” Leoncavallo’s “Pagliacci,” Puccini’s “La Bohème,” “Madama Butterfly,” “Turandot,” Mascagni's “Cavalleria Rusticana,” and others.
She won the Grand Prix and the Audience Choice Award in the Ukrainian festival of young conductors "Muzyczna Tavria" and participated in the Third International Stefan Turchak Conducting Competition. In 2010, she entered as a choir conductor, and in 2011, furthered her education in the faculty of symphony conducting at Nezhdanova Odessa National Music Academy. She continued her studies in conducting at The Tchaikovsky National Music Academy.
