
Born in Argentina, Nelson Goerner is widely regarded as one of the most distinguished pianists of his generation. Winner of the Geneva Competition in 1990, he has since pursued an international career that takes him to leading venues across Europe, Asia and the Americas. A regular guest with major orchestras, he is admired for the poetic depth and refined sensitivity of his playing, particularly in the Classical and Romantic repertoire. Now based in Switzerland, he teaches at the Haute École de Musique de Genève and maintains a critically acclaimed recording career.
